About The Artist.

I am Amparo Modino, a self-taught artist with a overflowing passion for portraiture. As far back as I can remember, I have dedicated my life to drawing and painting faces and figures, always seeking to capture the expression, personality, and soul of my subjects. With two decades of experience in portraits and caricatures, my artistic journey began in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where I acquired knowledge from talented artist teachers.

My specialization in portraits and caricatures has provided me with the opportunity to travel across Europe, enriching my skills with new insights from fellow artists. While portraiture is my passion, I am also drawn to other forms of expression, such as abstract art and the technique of fluid acrylics, in which I continue to immerse myself to expand my creativity.

Currently, I dedicate myself to creating commissioned portraits and caricatures, and I also work as a caricaturist at events and parties. Additionally, I share my knowledge and passion through drawing and artistic painting courses. Every day, I strive to improve and refine my art, with the firm purpose of conveying emotions and creating works that move those who observe them.
